Tai Chi asks you to slow down, to be in the present moment, and give your body equal say-so with your mind. When this happens, profound change can happen. It won’t happen fast. But compared to other “quick fixes” that always tempt us and rarely work, slow often finishes first. Which begs me to ask, is slow really slow if it gets you to your goal – if it finishes first? Or is it simply how long it takes?
